Energizer Family Charger

by Del on August 9, 2009

I have used several different brands of battery chargers though out the years.  I have to say that the Energizer Family charger is great for handling all of my recharging needs.  I use rechargeable batteries in everything from remotes, to toys, and any device that uses portable batteries.  This charger uses AAA, AA, C, D, and 9v batteries.  The easy to read LCD readout lets you know the amount of charge that the battery has and when it the charge is fully complete.  It also holds and recharges a combination of batteries including 8 AA or AAA and 4 C or D size batteries.

I have given up buying disposable batteries because they are bad on the environment when you have to dispose of them.  Also buying disposable batteries is like throwing money in the garbage.  We all know that most modern electronics use power, and buying battery after battery begins to add up significantly.

I like that Energizer is giving a rechargeable rebate for buying rechargeable batteries. It makes the expense of buying the batteries that much less, plus saving money is making money.

giveaway There’s one Family Charger to give away.

One way we are helping to save the planet is by going paperless (statements, billings, payments, etc.). The difference is immediately noticeable… :)

We recyle. We just spent 5 days camping with 7 families. We were the only ones that brought recycle bins. They were filled multiple times.

Aside from being an avid recycler I make it a point to buy clothing that uses renewable fibers. We are considering bamboo when we take out our old carpets one room at a time because of the cost.

Donna K August 20, 2009 at 5:45 am
