What can you do with 2 dimes?

by Del on March 12, 2010

I was playing around with 2 dimes, my Nikon D90 DSLR Camera, and Adobe Photoshop CS4.  So here is what I created.  Did not take long, but I really want to start doing more with graphics.  If you have any graphic software, you should really play around with it and see what you can do.  It is important that graphics be used to enhance visual appeal, which I like eye catching things personally.

Take a look and feel free to all me an amateur.

Striking and interesting, well done. look forward to what you learn to do both with the sweet new camera and the photoshop skills

Hmmm, I hope you didn’t mask/select the dimes and then eraser the white! From the looks of the shadow edge, that is what you did.
Try a simple Level Adjustment layer on the original image if that isn’t how you got the result – you might be pleasantly surprised!

Thanks Joesph. I will give that a try. It would be interesting to see what the results would be if I adjusted the levels then selecting the background.

Maybe I should have said novice.

It does not matter the equipment, if you do not have the skills. Practice and patience will hopefully pay off some day.
